Movement plays a powerful role in supporting women throughout pregnancy and the postnatal period. At Dynamic Osteopathy Cambridge, we are pleased to offer access to specialist Pregnancy Movement and Postnatal Reintegration classes through Bethia’s On-Demand Movement Library.
These programmes are rooted in safe, intentional and well-supported movement, helping women feel informed, confident and physically well as their bodies adapt through pregnancy and beyond.
Pregnancy Movement
Pregnancy movement refers to safe, appropriate exercise tailored to each stage of pregnancy. Bethia draws on Pilates, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation (DNS) and a fascia focused understanding of the body to help women:
move comfortably through all trimesters
reduce common pregnancy-related discomforts
prepare their body for birth and early motherhood
build confidence in what their body can do
Her approach is grounded in over two decades of experience, doula training (Paramanadoula & Developing Doulas), and a long history of supporting women 1:1 and in group settings.
On her On-Demand platform, you will find trimester-specific Pregnancy Movement classes designed to guide you safely and effectively from the first trimester through to your final weeks of pregnancy.
Postnatal Reintegration
The postnatal period is a transformative stage of life. Bethia’s Postnatal Reintegration approach supports women from early weeks postpartum onwards, helping them restore their alignment, breathing mechanics, stability and confidence in their bodies.
Drawing on Pilates, DNS, Hypopressives and MovingFascia®, the Postnatal Library includes:
early breathing sessions (appropriate from around 2 weeks postpartum)
guided diastasis recti and pelvic support classes
classes to help realign the torso after pregnancy
progressive strengthening sequences as stability returns
Whether you are rehabilitating from pelvic girdle pain, diastasis recti, pelvic organ prolapse (displacement due to imbalance in pelvic structures), or simply want structured guidance as you return to full function and get back to the activities you love, these classes offer a gentle but effective pathway forward for your body.
